Yuriy Gurzhy kommt aus der Ukraine und lebt in Berlin. Seit Jahren tritt er mit dem Emigrantski Raggamuffin Kollektiv RotFront auf, und wenn die Band nicht gerade auf Tour ist, schreibt er gern Lieder für andere Kollegen. Aber so gut wie nie, oder ganz selten, kommt Gurzhy dazu, diese Songs dann auch live zu singen.
Und so wird dieser Abend im P.A.N.D.A. Theater zu einer der raren Möglichkeiten, sie in der Autoreninterpretation zu hören, von „Back in my hometown“ über „Immigrant Song“ zu „Disko Boy“.

Yuriy Gurzhy comes from Ukraine and lives in Berlin. Many years he performes toghether wirh Emigrantski Raggamuffin Kollektiv RotFront and while the band isn't on tour Yuriy writes new songs for other colleagues. But almost never, very rarely indeed, he has a possibility to perform these songs live.
This is what makes this evening at PANDA so special: the rare chance to listen to Gurzhy's songs in his very own interpretation.
