Apophenia is the designation given to the brain's tendency to search for patterns between seemingly unrelated data.
That's precisely the objective of the quartet's exploration: creating connection between seemingly unrelated backgrounds and creating a common ground between free improvisation, rhythmic and physical contemporary approaches and the ethereal melodic elements that bind all of sound and music.
